Rue de Net offices before we moved in the autumn of 2009. This apartment is owned by me and my colleague. We have now renovated it and would like to rent it out to tourists that want to stay short-term downtown Reykjavik.
It is a beautiful apartment right in the city center (the defined city center is actually just 10 meters from the apartment). Plenty of restaurants close by (you can see 6 restaurants from the apartment). The house was built in 1842 and is one of the oldest houses in Reykjavík. It has recently been restored to a high standard while keeping some of the original features.
It has a fully equipped kitchen (but without oven), it has a large flatscreen TV, multiple channels (domestic and foreign), wireless internet access and all the normal stuff that such apartment needs to have. There is one thing though: it is a non-smoking apartment.
So, if you know of anyone who wants to stay downtown Reykjavik, either for business or pleasure, then this is the ideal apartment for sure. For more information, pictures and contact info, see www.vesturgata3.is.
